• Lighting Challenges: Working with natural light was both a challenge and a privilege. Often, the best light was fleeting, requiring patience and quick reflexes. Overcoming harsh midday sun and embracing the soft glow of twilight were key to capturing the mood.
• Geographic and Historical Context: These images were captured across various locations, each with its own unique history. From the crumbling walls of abandoned farmhouses to the vibrant colours of village homes, the architecture reflects the local culture and the passage of time. Rustic architecture is a key theme.
