Fürstenburg Castle: Alpine Majesty and Sacred Art Captured Through My Lens

Stepping into the grounds of Fürstenburg always feels like a journey back in time, a profound experience where history and breathtaking nature converge. My Photographic Approach to Fürstenburg

• For this extensive exploration of Fürstenburg, my trusted Sony Alpha 6300 mirrorless APS-C camera was my constant companion. Paired with the versatile E 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lens, I had the flexibility to capture everything from wide, sweeping panoramas of the valley and distant snowy peaks to the intricate details of the baroque altar inside the historic church. This combination proved ideal for adapting quickly to the diverse scenes presented by the castle and its surroundings, allowing me to focus on composition without constantly changing lenses.
• Photographing a location with such varied environments, from the bright, open alpine air to the dimly lit interiors of the church, presented distinct lighting challenges. Inside, capturing the rich textures of the baroque altar and the grand monumental organ required careful management of available light, often pushing my ISO within the 100–1600 range to maintain detail and atmosphere without sacrificing too much natural ambiance.
